Always disconnect the internal laptop battery cable immediately after removing the bottom panel. Never touch RAM slots or internal motherboard components with the battery energized.
1. Turn off laptop, disconnect AC adapter, and discharge static.
2. Unscrew the 11 Phillips PH00 screws on the bottom.
3. Pry open base plate with plastic spudger.
4. Unplug the internal battery connector.
5. RAM slots and both M.2 slots are clearly visible and accessible.
6. Install components, reconnect battery, snap case closed, and tighten screws.
