Always disconnect the internal laptop battery cable immediately after removing the bottom panel. Never touch RAM slots or internal motherboard components with the battery energized.
1. Disconnect power brick, shut down system, and discharge electrostatic charge.
2. Unscrew the 10 Phillips PH00 screws on the base panel.
3. Gently slide a plastic pick around the chassis boundary to disengage clips.
4. Remove bottom plate and disconnect the battery connector.
5. RAM slots are under the central metal cover; lift shield, push side tabs to pop RAM up at 45 degrees.
6. SSD slots are on the left and right; unscrew the metal heatsink shields to access M.2 2280 slots.
7. Insert replacement components, re-affix shields, re-attach battery, and secure screws.
